- Setting: inpatient hospital medicine for pediatric patients
- Duties/description:
- 8 physicians on staff
- 150-180 PICU admits per year (average per shift is 3-5)
- 200-260 intermediate admits per year (average per shift is 2-7)
- Support staff: ICU team, 1 clinical nurse specialist, ancillary staff: child life, pastoral services, nutrition, social services, PT/OT, speech, pediatric sedation service in place
- Schedule: Day shifts are 7am-5pm, night shifts are 5pm-7am; needing coverage for Dec/Jan and beyond
- Credential in 60-90 days
- Must be board certified or eligible in pediatric medicine or pediatric hospital medicine
- Active IL license or IMLC accepted
- Maintain and active and unrestricted DEA license
