This community health center first opened in 1999 and has grown in response to the local community's needs over the last 27 years. Today, they operate 2 clinic locations, as well as additional service centers, in Grand Junction. They boast a clinical staff of 5 physicians and 10 advanced practice providers, who serve patients along with psychiatric providers, behavioral health specialists, dental clinicians, and more. They are currently seeking a new physician due to growth.
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The physician provides comprehensive primary care services for an underserved patient demographic.
Specific duties of the role include, but are not limited to:
- general primary care
- preventive care
- office-based procedures
- chronic condition management
- perform or request tests
- interpret test results
- make referrals to other providers as needed
Physicians see an average of 17 to 19 patients per day, with the support of dedicated clinical assistants.
The practice uses the Epic EHR.
REQUIREMENTS:
