Position Overview
Acadia Tower Behavioral Health is seeking a Board-Eligible Adult Psychiatrist for full-time inpatient locum coverage. Join a well-supported behavioral health facility with a collaborative multidisciplinary team and manageable daily census.

- Monday-Friday 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
- No call, no weekends

Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations for adult inpatient admissions
- Perform daily follow-ups and discharge planning
- Diagnose and manage acute & chronic psychiatric conditions
- Create and adjust treatment plans, including psychopharmacology
- Monitor medication response and side effects
- Provide crisis intervention, stabilization & de-escalation
- Collaborate with nursing, social work, psychology, and primary care
- Participate in interdisciplinary treatment team meetings
- Maintain accurate and timely EMR documentation
- Follow all regulatory, ethical, and clinical standards
