Join an established cardiothoracic surgery program that serves as the only CT program within a 90 mile radius. This cardiac focused role offers dedicated operating room resources, experienced APP and perfusion support, and growing heart surgery volume.
Position Highlights- Established CT Program: Join one cardiac focused surgeon and one thoracic focused surgeon as the program replaces a retiring physician
- Cardiac Surgery Volume: Focus primarily on cardiac surgery in a program performing approximately 150 heart cases annually, with volume growing
- Clinical Support: Work alongside 3 perfusionists, 3 dedicated APPs, and intensivists who manage postoperative care
- Dedicated Surgical Resources: Access dedicated CT operating room time, a 25 bed PCU step down unit, and an entire floor dedicated to postoperative care
- Manageable Call: Share a 1:3 call schedule across the cardiothoracic surgery team
- $650,000 ongoing base salary plus RVU bonuses
- $60,000 sign on bonus
- Up to $15,000 in relocation assistance
- 20 days PTO, 7 holidays, and a $7,000 CME allowance
