What you'll do
- See 5-10 adult and geriatric patients each day for radiation oncology care
- Handle new-patient visits, follow-ups, OTV, lab reviews and toxicity assessments
- Plan and guide treatment using CT simulation, CT planning, 3D conformal planning, IMRT, VMAT and IGRT
- Treat cases spanning breast, prostate, CNS, head and neck, lung, GI/GU, skin and palliative or emergent care
What you bring
- You hold an MD or DO and board certification in radiation oncology
- You have BLS certification and experience with the listed consultations, assessments and radiation procedures
Who this fits
This full-time contract runs for 24 weeks, with extensions usually offered, and requires weekend work on either a 5x8 or 4x10 schedule. You’ll work in a clinic with radiation therapists, an oncology RN, onsite med/surg oncologists and palliative support. A state license is required; IMLC may be considered.

We're currently seeking a Physician-Radiation Oncology to join our amazing team.
Details of the Opening:
- Anticipated start date: ASAP
- Salary Range: $425/hr
- Anticipated duration of this contract assignment: 24 weeks (Extensions usually offered)
- Anticipated schedule: full time, either 5x8 or 4x10 days, weekends required

Daily Range of Responsibilities:
- Support staff: radiation therapist, oncology RN, onsite med/surg oncologists, palliative support team
- Department Description: clinic
- Patient Volume: 5-10 per day
- Patient Age Group: adult-geri
- EMR/Documentation System: EPIC with Aria platform
- Special Procedures/Unit Details: new patient consults, follow ups, OTV, lab review, toxicity assessment.
- Case types include breast, prostate, CNS, head and neck, lung, GI/GU, skin, palliative/emergent, spinal cord compression, brain metastases, SVC syndrome. Procedures include CT simulation, CT planning, 3D conformal planning, IMRT, VMAT, IGRT
Requirements:
- Provider type: MD/DO
- Board Certifications Req'd: BC in rad onc required
- Fellowship Req'd: Not required State License(s) Req'd:
- May consider IMLC Certifications Req'd: BLS
